We were absolutely delighted to dedicate our Design Week to sustainability. We were really excited to accept Swatchbox’s kind invitation to showcase some of the materials that architectural firms have kindly donated.

It was a fantastic chance to think about the environmental impact of sample production and to think about how we can make the design industry more eco-friendly.

The exhibition used images and sound to show us just how much waste is generated in the industry. It was a great way to start important discussions and to inspire positive changes.

Let’s all do our bit to help the planet! The three R’s of the circular economy – reduce, reuse, recycle – are there to guide us in our concrete actions and solutions. As designers, we can turn these principles into tangible actions, influencing construction techniques, material choices and our methodological approach to design.

Together, we can build a more sustainable future for the design industry and beyond!
