BIM COORDINATOR

GBPA Architects is looking for an architect or engineer to fill the role of BIM Coordinator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing BIM models, ensuring that the various disciplines involved in the project work in synergy by using the same methodologies and tools.

They will also ensure that the models are accurate, consistent, and compliant with established standards, facilitating communication and collaboration between teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development and management of BIM models throughout all project phases, from concept to construction.
• Verify procedures and protocols, ensuring that the project team follows company or project guidelines.
• Perform coordination checks (Clash Detection).
• Manage information sharing and collaboration between teams through dedicated exchange platforms such as BIM 360 and/or ACC.
• Handle documentation and information generated from the BIM model.
• Provide technical support to team members.
• Collaborate with the BIM Manager to continuously improve BIM processes and implement new technologies and tools.

Requirements

• Extensive experience using BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Excellent knowledge of national and international BIM regulations and standards.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and facilitate communication among various project stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• At least 4 years of work experience.
• Proven experience in managing BIM projects.
• BIM Certification for the role is preferred.
